Two codes

Don't mix them up. The event code (letters + numbers, like HYA1234) gets you in. Your 5-digit gallery code (like 04821) is what you receive afterward to open your photos. Save that one.

1 Getting in

Easiest way: point your phone camera at the event QR code — it opens your event's photoshoot page.

No QR handy? Open the site and enter your event code:

  1. On the home screen, find Enter your event code.
  2. Type the code from your host (letters + numbers, e.g. HYA1234).
  3. Tap Enter.

You'll land on the welcome page — “One Photo. Many Scenes. One private gallery.” Tap Get my gallery to begin. Already have your 5-digit gallery code? Tap I have a code to jump straight to your photos.

2 Reserve your gallery

On the Claim your AI photoshoot screen:

  1. Enter your First name, Last name, and Email (a mobile number is optional — it just helps us match you).
  2. Optionally tap Add a selfie now (or do it later — Step 3).
  3. If you add a selfie, tick the consent box (plain-English version below).
  4. Tap Reserve my gallery.

You'll see You're in. and your private 5-digit gallery code (e.g. 04821). Save it — you'll need it, with your email, to open your gallery. We'll also email you when everything's ready.

There's also a printable Photo Consent & Waiver that covers this in full, with an optional marketing/likeness section — that part is up to you, and you can skip it and still get all your photos.

3 Add a selfie

Why we ask: your selfie is how we match the professional photos to you — and it's the starting point for your AI makeover. One good selfie is all it takes.

If you didn't add one at signup:

  1. Go to Upload your selfie.
  2. Enter your 5-digit gallery code and the email you signed up with, then tap Continue.
  3. Drop a selfie or tap to choose — up to 3.
  4. Tick consent, then tap Send selfie. You'll see Selfie received.

How to take a good selfie

  • Face the light — natural light is ideal.
  • Look straight at the camera.
  • No sunglasses, hats, or heavy filters.

Optional: the What are you wearing? box (e.g. “navy suit, red tie”) helps us find you faster. JPG, PNG, HEIC or WebP all work — we shrink big phone photos for you.

Your selfie is used only to match you, generate your portraits, and store your finished images in your private gallery. It's deleted when the event is archived, and you can remove it yourself anytime (Step 5).

4 What happens next

While you get on with your day:

  1. Your selfie is matched to the professional photos taken of you at the event.
  2. Your AI portraits are crafted from it.
  3. The moment your gallery is ready, we email you.

How long? Every event is different, so there's no fixed countdown — but you don't need to sit and refresh. If you peek early you'll just see a friendly Almost there. screen that updates itself when your photos land. And if we add more photos later, we'll send a quick follow-up email.

5 Your gallery

When your email arrives, come back, tap I have a code, and on Open your gallery:

  1. Enter your 5-digit gallery code.
  2. Enter your email.
  3. Tap Open gallery. (We remember your code + email on your own device, so returning is quick.)

Inside you'll find two sections: AI Photoshoot (your finished portraits) and Originals (the photos you uploaded). Tap any image to open it full-screen; tap Back to gallery to return.

Save a photo

Hover or tap an image and press Save (top corner), or open it full-screen and tap Save. The full-size photo downloads straight to your device — yours to keep, print, and post.

Share

The Share button lets you invite friends to get their own AI photoshoot — Copy link, Device share (AirDrop, Messages…), or email a friend.

Note

Share sends a sign-up invite — it does not give anyone access to your private photos. Your gallery stays locked behind your code and email. To send someone an actual photo, Save it first, then share the file however you like.

Replace your selfie

In Originals, your selfie is tagged Selfie. Tap Remove to delete it (you'll confirm — this can't be undone), then add a fresh one from the selfie upload page (Step 3).

Questions people ask

How long until my photos are ready?

It varies by event, and there's no set time posted. You don't need to keep checking — we email you the moment your gallery is ready. Open it early and you'll just see an “Almost there.” screen that refreshes on its own.

What happens to my selfie and my data?

Your selfie is used only to match you to your event photos, create your portraits, and store your finished images securely in your private gallery — never for advertising, tracking, or sale, and never to train AI models. It's kept separate per event and deleted when the event is archived. Full details at aipstudio.tfp.nyc/security.

Can I delete my selfie or my data?

Yes — remove your selfie yourself from the Originals section, or email privacy@tfp.nyc anytime to request access or deletion. Your face data is deleted when the event is archived regardless.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Everything runs in your phone or computer's web browser. One scan, one selfie — no app, no line.

How many photos do I get?

Your gallery holds all the images we create for you. If we add more after the first batch, you'll get a follow-up email.

What if my code or email doesn't work?

Double-check your 5-digit gallery code, and be sure you're using the same email that received your invite — it has to match the one on file.

Are AI portraits exactly like a normal photo?

They're polished, AI-generated interpretations — fun and stylized, and results naturally vary from shot to shot.
